I'm older now, and think I'd do much better with algebra and the like, but am wondering if anyone has the name of a decently priced math home study course I could invest in so I can byp the cles but take the placement tests. I majored in fine art in school, and my learning style is particularly hands on and intuitive. I really wanted to do well in math when I was younger... tutors, seeing the teacher after cl, extra homework, etc. It just always seemed I couldn't find the right teaching style to have it all make sense. Personally I think it a very normal reaction to have. If he has these insecurity problems it's not your burden to carry all the time. I can't say I've ever received the cold shoulder from anyone, but it has been my experience that people don't do things without a reason. You could be imagining it, or you could have mistaken someone else for that person if you don't know him/her well--that has happened before(a nurse once mistook me for her new brother-in-law), but if that's not the case, then you have to figure out the reason. !.
