Little dog sick after eating a treat that was a little too large...help bloat? torsion?

you should be warned that that procedure can cause rupturing of the intestines on dogs you are inflicting severe pain on him I'm surprised he came back to you the first time. If you want a pup to throw up you use ipicac not compresson they don't have a diaphram to protect their guts. Don't let large treats in his zone break it up before he even sees it secondly he sounds like what we call a gulper so his treat training should be to sit calmly for the treat not jump or such, gulpers don't chew properly because their brains say they have to eat fast to get more you need to make him slow down. The standard method is you putting two or three peices of food in his bowl at a time while talking and petting him this drops the excitment factor and he will learn to calm down about his food. I have used this method from chihuahuas to mastiffs and it does take patience but they not only learn to calm down about food but it also teaches them to not grab the food from you
