Are those weird characters (an example - s–¾‚ȃA[ƒeƒBƒXƒg) Shift-JS kanji/kana encoding?
Well, once I was looking for out of print cd that's I've really been looking for since forever in good quality (instead of sucky 128kb/sec mp3 rips and worst 55kb/sec ogg-vorbis rips) and I finally found it on a website that provided emule downloads. Anyways, once I had downloaded the file and decompressed it, I inspected the cue sheet (it was wav with a .cue file, hehe) only to find those weird characters (here's one more example - •s–¾‚ȃA[ƒeƒBƒXƒg). I was angry because I wanted the original kanji names. Now, I've been researching them and I think I've found out what they are (Shift JS). The only issue is turning them back into kanji/kana (if i can) or if they really are Shift JS characters. Do you guys think you can help me outs?
