Question about opening an account while in BCT. ?

While in a place such as Fort Leonard Wood for BCT, after the initial set up for where your checks will be direct diposited to, is it possible to open a new account and have it changed to be diposited to that one instead? Like making an appointment with finances or something? Thanks.
